Thats wonderful. But I'd never do that to long hair. I'd be too worried about damaging such long locks.

Before I did it I grew out my hair as long as it would go, just to see. After the dye job wore off, I cut my hair short (short for me, that is, shoulder length). So it wasn't that bad. Sort of a last hurrah for the really long hair.
